Product Description

This product is an mRNA encoding Firefly-Luciferase (Fluc). In molecular biology research, Fluc is widely used for monitoring mammalian cell viability and target gene expression levels. Upon efficient delivery into cells or animal models, this product expresses intracellular Firefly-Luciferase, which produces a bioluminescent signal in the presence of the substrate luciferin.

This product is capped with a Cap1 (m7GpppNm) structure featuring high capping efficiency to improve mRNA stability. All uridine (U) residues in the sequence are fully substituted with N1-methylpseudouridine (m¹Ψ), which significantly enhances protein expression levels and reduces immunogenicity. Additionally, this product contains a poly(A) tail of no less than 100 nt, increasing intracellular mRNA stability and protein translation efficiency.

Are your off-the-shelf mRNA products purified? What purification methods are used?

Yes. All of our off-the-shelf mRNA products undergo rigorous purification processes to ensure high purity and quality. Following in vitro transcription, impurities are removed and buffer exchange is performed through Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) and Oligo(dT) chromatography. The final product is then sterile-filtered and aliquoted for distribution.

How do you control dsRNA residuals in mRNA products to minimize immunogenicity?

We employ an optimized in vitro transcription process designed to minimize dsRNA generation at the source. In addition, downstream purification steps are specifically optimized to further remove residual dsRNA. This combined approach significantly reduces dsRNA levels and minimizes nonspecific immune stimulation in both cell-based and animal studies.

What quality control tests are performed on your off-the-shelf mRNA products?

We implement a comprehensive quality control program, including release testing for RNA size, concentration, purity, pH, and endotoxin levels. Each batch is accompanied by a Report of Analysis (RoA) providing complete QC results.

How is mRNA integrity evaluated and quantified?

mRNA integrity is assessed and quantified using automated capillary electrophoresis. The integrity profile and analytical results are documented in the Report of Analysis (RoA) provided with each batch.

What is the remaining shelf life of off-the-shelf mRNA products upon shipment?

To ensure product quality and maximize usability, we guarantee that all products have a minimum remaining shelf life of six months at the time of shipment. Manufacturing date and expiration information are provided in the accompanying Report of Analysis (RoA) and on the product label. Products should be stored at ≤ -70°C.
