LNP encapsulation is the process of incorporating a nucleic acid payload, such as mRNA or saRNA, into lipid nanoparticles to create a formulation. The lipid nanoparticle helps package the RNA payload into a controlled particle system for subsequent in vitro or in vivo research.
A typical lipid nanoparticle formulation combines the selected RNA payload with appropriate lipid components under controlled formulation conditions. The resulting mRNA-LNP formulation is then evaluated for key quality attributes such as encapsulation efficiency, particle size, polydispersity index, concentration, integrity and endotoxin level.
Quintara Biosciences provides customized LNP encapsulation services with multiple lipid and formulation options. Customers may select validated commercial lipids, recommended formulations with clear IP ownership or client-supplied lipids according to their project requirements. The service supports both Research Grade and Preclinical Grade mRNA and saRNA encapsulation.
