CA Production Operation ManagerUnited States
We are seeking a Production Operation Manager to oversee and optimize end-to-end production operations at our Hayward laboratory. This role is responsible for streamlining workflows, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving process improvements across multiple production departments, including gene synthesis, cloning, DNA preparation, oligo synthesis, Sanger sequencing, and Nanopore sequencing. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Commercial, R&D, Project Management (PM), Marketing, Logistics, and Automation teams to ensure smooth production execution, cost-effective operations, and exceptional service delivery
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Production Operations & Workflow Optimization
Oversee and manage all production activities across synthesis and sequencing.
Streamline and optimize production workflows, implementing best practices and efficiency improvements.
Implement quality control and record-keeping measures to maintain high production standards and regulatory compliance.
Facilitate technology transfers to other sites, ensuring consistency in production processes.
Work closely with the automation team to implement cost-saving measures and improve operational scalability.
Execute the sales strategy of the responsible area, effectively utilize all kinds of resources to achieve company goals and profit targets;
Customer consultation and timely follow-up communication, to provide effective product technical advice and programs, to promote project closure, sign a contract, to ensure that the return of funds;

Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the U.S. market, collect, develop, visit and maintain the key potential new customer information.
Collect and analyze customer information and opinions, competitors' information, market demand and product competition, market status and trends in the responsible area to identify opportunities and challenges.

Satellite Site Manager is responsible for comprehensive management of Quintara Satellite Site, ensuring the continuous operation and consistent fulfillment of service standard. Satellite Site Manager is responsible for the P&L of the site, and will take the lead to ensure the achievement of financial and operation goals
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up the lab with requested functions, including but not limited to location search, rent negotiation, equipment installation and validation, process transfer, logistics, etc.
Build up the local team for site operation, conduct the training, retention, regular performance management and other team building activities.
Manage the daily operation, including but not limited to production and logistics to ensure the site operation performance meet the Quintara standard.
Organize and maintain the inventory to meet the demands from continuous operation and avoid stockouts or overstocking.
Implement systematic management of the instruments and labware.
Implement 6S management system, improving the safety and productivity.
Identify, report, and take actions on potential risks to prevent the happening of production accident.

The Logistics Manager will act as a supervisor by overseeing the entire operation of logistics department
This position will work with internal and external customers to quote and coordinate International and Domestic Shipments
Ensure that regulatory requirements are met, that shipments have the correct paperwork, such as commercial invoices and packing lists and ensure that documentation is processed and distributed in a timely way to carriers or forwarders.
Working with production and Sales team to plan, coordinate, and monitor the movement of sample pick up, materials and products from suppliers to customers.
Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to streamline transportation and delivery processes.
Prepare all documents required for life science product international transportation.

Be responsible for the day-to-day work and management of the Oligonucleotide teams in Boston
Design and implement innovative strategies for the synthesis, purification, and scale-up of oligonucleotides
Utilize hands-on experience to optimize synthetic routes, purification methods, and bioconjugation protocols
Conduct analytical characterization using HPLC, LC-MS, and other analytical methods.
Complete the goals associated with specific oligonucleotide process optimization projects.
Develop solutions and providing recommendations as to the appropriate course of action to technical problems associated with the preparation of synthetic oligonucleotides.
Provides documentation and validation support in execution of synthesis and/or purification process changes.
Performs laboratory work and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and company guidelines.
